I feel like I gave up/lost alot this year. I meanit both material and non-material wise. Sometimes I wonder whether its worth it....I guess I'll never know. Probably some things are more important than others...? Thinking so much that I don't need to. I realised that in my life tears is just so "real". tears are like...so much a part of me. Probably everyone has seen me cry before :/
and I never realised somethings... somethings i guess i've learnt, to not let things be left hanging for the other person...Learning to be less a fish monger.
Lost my appetite countless times, lost my bubbly-ness (a lil) as well. I know I come across as more quiet nowadays. Perhaps I am? I'm not sure. Probably take things 1 step at a time as it comes... Who am I in You? What do I matter to people around me? To You?

Trip long long ago


Guess what? I'm blogging about my trip to Germany...dated back to November 2005. Yea, THAT long ago. The memory I remember the most is that I hated taking pictures...but my dad is good with the camera and hence captured quite many pictures (amounting to 300+ mb!!) These are just snippets of the memories I have...including my extra long hair! :O


The location was Bonn, Germany.

Bonn, Germany. There was a bazaar which we went to.


The bazaar's at Beethoven's hometown. It was a very very very pretty sight...But the things were expensive as well (what with the exchange rate)


Don't laugh :/ I wanted u to see the background. This pic was taken by my dad of (my) guard. the place is fantastic actually :)


Then there was this place, some garden that looked remotely chinese - influenced.
Except for the fauna there, the architecture really was quite oriental.

26 Dec (if I'm not mistaken), snow fell for the first time since I was at Bonn. Look at the jakun-ness delight of people who saw snow for the first time in their lives.


How I looked when I was 16 going on 17. Have I changed much? (up to you to answer/comment)...coz I can't tell :P

It was an experience to cherish, now that I look back. And the place was safe - I went shopping alone ; little boys rode bikes on the road without fear, and the local police were seen everywhere. Security was amazing. Here....

And tho I cant see the future, I know the one who holds your (and my) future in His hands! :)

Ok. :) Now to continue...


Today was a fantastic and funtastic day. Hahaha. Sooky came over my house in the morning. Well, "agenda" was like...hearing her play the piano (and taking secret photos...which I will not post up unless she allows); and showing her my childhood(well, not so childhood) photos. Funny to laugh over the past. :P And...she was the first (and only one la) to see me in the dress (kinda like short evening dress) I bought. gesh... =p


Then there was oral health week. Overall, I think it was a success. I learnt a few things, and I was quite impressed with the dental students as a whole. hehe. and look at the stuff I got below at the end of the day...

Prizes from individual stations. Toothpaste (multiple, as you can see) , bookmarks, model tooth. The no-sugar-added soybean was consumed in the very hour. The games were fun la :) Matching/ pasting smiles on celebrities ; "bowling", "darts" (with satay sticks with clay), "wheel of fortune" and others. Nice :)

Then it was time for class. Scanning through slides, I realised I knew so little bout hemato. Need to brush up. ALOT :(


After that....I changed and went for...badminton! :O Its really amazing as this is the first sport (apart from darts) that I've done....in YEARS. Serious. the last time I played badminton was bout 8 yrs ago, when I was...12 or 13. LOL.


To my delight, I could still play. As in, I'm not a "good" player, but enough to enjoy the game. :) Derrick is really good. And partnering with him was fun as well. Melody, Sook Cheng, DaiDai, Eld and Joyce (who came later) were there. It was AWESOMELY FUNTASTIC. Haha I cant begin to describe. You need to be there personally. There were songs(Melody...) and sound effect(Joyce...) which constantly cracked me up. And of course, (as you would have noticed from the apology above), some minor "accidents".


Haha. But it was really really really fun. I think I've never perspired like that IN MY LIFE. the thing I noticed is that I don't bother if the shuttlecock was took too far away. And yes, they( Dai and Melody) did ALOT to try make me run. Haha. And to be honest, I did try... I've never ever pushed myself that hard before in sports. This is...the first. Was fighting the tiredness I was feeling. Later when went home was washing the dishes and cleaning the vege, I could really really feel the effects. wow...


But I still find it amazing. Joanne has never been synonymous with sports. And sexiest managed to (just by inviting) to get me into it. I can say I actually love badminton. Hopefully (if they can book the court not 2-4pm) then I'll be joining them often :) But others ( eg swimming ) will come later...if they come. I cant swim / run for nuts...


And back home, was playing the black and white keys I love so much. Cannon in D (well, C key to be honest...)! and another song (which I couldnt finish...I'm noob la). :P Had so much joy in it :)


On another note...rotation posting schedule is out. And I have posting in KKB...and it spans over the weekend! no~ (coz KKB have to stay there unlike Gombak hospital). So how la wei.... TT


And before I forget, MEDT109 cg is starting tomorrow 12, pbl 23. Sorry I have lab at that time, but I wish you guys all the best. Go Nat! :) Support her k :)

Sometimes I feel really sidelined...I know I'm no longer in charge...but I wasn't even notified of the meet today. Not just I'm not needed...I'm not wanted?


I really feel lonely right now. Probably coz the buildup of the day's pensiveness. And being agitated by my two brothers. Well, normal for them probably, the way they act...but I wasn't in a particularly bright and sunny mood. Hot tears just formed before I could stop it. Mercifully, no mortal saw me.


Is this part of growing up? This is not the first time I've heard that "the lesson I learnt is not to trust people so easily..."... what happened to the world? What happened to the kindness and "talk to me"? what happened to the "stick with you through thick and thin" ? Sometimes, I think it takes just someone to ask " how are you"... "are you really ok?". or maybe its just the way I'm wired :/


Maybe I just need a hug ='(

Emofied today. Don't ask me why...I think many things are just running at the back of my mind.


Just had to go to LT so many times coz music / playing the piano made me feel better. Somehow. Its like ,I could feel the "heat" sizzling off me...a lil. Tho I'm not good a player :/


Anyways. Sexiest is just...sexiest. You know, the two (refer to picture below) shared a sweet. Ewww.....I shall spare you(who read) and myself from the gorry icky slimy details of the slimy sweet and the people. :/
